Spending the Holy Week here in the Philippines can be a summer vacation for some or a week of solemnity and religious activities for others. I chose the latter, mainly because I grew up in a religious family and maybe needed a break. :) This time, instead of going to the beach, we went up to the mountains in Balamban. There's a valley just beyond Transcentral Highway right before you arrive in municipal proper.
There's nothing you can do there besides swimming in the creek, relaxing under the tree house, playing board games, eating, getting wasted, or just sitting on the balcony and listening to the sound of the river. It's not for everyone, not even my kind of thing, but I did try some long exposure shots, got my feet and tripod wet, and refreshed my mind and body.
